Salaar is an upcoming Pan Indian action film starring Rebel Star Prabhas. Shruti Hassan is playing the female lead in the film. It is being directed by director Prashanth Neel who also directed KGF 1 and 2. Almost 30 to 40% of the shooting has been completed. The rest of the shooting will commence by March-end after Prabhas frees himself from Radheshyam promotions.
Now the latest development regarding Salaar has come to our notice. The development is that Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran has joined the cast of Salaar. This news has been confirmed by the leading man of the film Prabhas himself during the Radheshyam Kerala promotional event to the media.
This is not the first time Kerala actors have been taking part in Telugu movies. Yesterday Mammootty look from Akhil Akkineni agent has been revealed by the makers. Long back Mammootty was cast in an agent. Even we can see Malayalam actor Fahad Faasil in Pushpa.

Another important and interesting development regarding Salaar is that the movie will release in two parts. There were already rumors about Salaar being released in two parts and during the promotional event of Radheshyam media asked him about salaar releasing in two parts Prabhas ignored the question thus giving air to rumors.
Well now it is almost confirmed that Salaar will release in two parts. This would be Prabhas second film with two parts after Bahubali. The official announcement regarding the same will be made soon. Prabhas fans join knew no bounds after this news.
Well, a movie being made into two parts is not a new thing to the industry. Blockbuster Pushpa too is being made into two parts. Salaar will most probably release at the end or in the next year
