Actor Prabhas is one of the most bankable names in Indian cinema right now, and the failure of Radhe Shyam didn’t affect his lineup. The actor’s hands are full of Pan India films like Adipurush, Salaar, and Project K, but we hear that in the midst of these massive projects, Prabhas has expressed a desire in doing a smaller picture.
According to our sources, the actor has joined Maruthi’s next film, directed by Bhale Bhale Magadivoy. The film is said to be a supernatural action thriller and filming is all set to begin in late May or early June. Prabhas has budgeted over 100 days for the shoot and hopes to complete it by the end of the year.
Sources say that Prabhas is quite enthusiastic about the issue and is eager to explore the supernatural realm. While there have been conflicting claims about the film’s producer, sources have confirmed that the yet-to-be-titled film will be produced by DVV Danayya of RRR fame.
Although UV Creations has been mentioned as a possible producer, the project will be spearheaded by DVV Entertainment. The banner is ecstatic to work with Prabhas. While it’s unclear whether this would be a pan-India picture or merely a Tamil/Telugu bilingual, Prabhas is finally stepping away from the big-budget blockbusters. Rather than putting an undue burden on every film, the actor wants to balance out his lineup.
