Plot
The movie follows the lives of the people of Mijwan where there still the culture of women is better off at home is followed. Especially for Muslim women and girls. In the movie, we see that a young Muslim girl whose mother has died recently wants to learn Bharatnatyam and her father enrolls her in the dance class. This decision of his is met with severe criticism from everyone in their caste and even her sister in law. But the father doesn’t budge from these people and wants her daughter to learn and be happy in whatever way she can be. This is the story of a daughter and his father who fights with everyone for the happiness of her daughter and believes that one day she’ll succeed.
