Episode 1 begins with a woman named Rowan Fielding who lives on a boat and also works as a surgeon in a hospital, where we find out that she is adopted and lives with Ellie, who acts as her adoptive mother and is near death from cancer. Rowan is also having a dream in which blood is splattering everywhere, and it turns out that she comes from a witch family.
After that, we see that Rowan asks Dr. Keck about her mother to do research on her disease issue, but he refuses. After that, she got angry and kicked him, which made him instantly dead. Then she requests Lemla again, who agrees to look into her case, but we discover that this man is the sexiest.
Later, the scene shifts to the past, where we see her mother, Deidre, who lives with her aunt and finds that she meets with a man named Lasher, and they fall in love, and later she gets pregnant, and we see her aunt give her child to another so that she can’t be known by her family names and remain unknown from the witches’ world.
