Films and Politics are never-ending conflicts, now the recent news is coming from Kuwait and Oman where Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film is banned by the Government, Here are the details about it.
Just 2 days before the release, A news comes as the Shocker for the Akshay Kumar Fans or Indians from Oman and Kuwait, Akshay Kumar’s upcoming Historical film ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ is banned by the government and it will no released anymore on the big screens, the decision was taken by the censor board of Kuwait and Oman.
The film is based on the History and it was quite shocking as the films based on true stories are now also being banned by these countries, recently, Vijay Starrer Beast was also banned by both of these countries, Beat was a fictional story and we can understand that, but banning Prithviraj which is based on the true story is little harsh and silly.

i dont see its a silly, the reason behind it must be simple which is the fight between mughals and prithviraj made them irked. See for our nation prithviraj is a great hero, but when u look from islamic state angle, the people who believes the followers of islamic culture may not get okay with whatever is going on.. I think the problem is not the truth, its about emotions and agressions of divisiveness of people’s beliefs. Imagine there are only few scenes in beast where they showcased about some terrorist organization, symbol and attacks..But in Prithviraj after screening they must have gotten shocked to see so..Its not silly.. its quiet political too..because these nations follow islamic belief so deeply..
Just having the name of the original king, doesnt make it a ‘True Story’. the movie is based on Prithviraj Raso, which itself is considered as inaccurate version of his story.
One of the biggest flaw of the movie is that it shows that Prithviraj kills Ghori but in reality, Ghori died almost 15 years after him.
With such inaccuracies, just to glorify Prithviraj and to humiliate the Muslim leaders, it is obvious that Islamic countries would impose ban on them
