Khuda Haafiz Movie Review: Hotstar original movie Khuda Hafiz starring Action Star Vidyut Jammwal and Shivaleeka Oberoi is now streaming on the Hotstar, here we are going to review the movie, we would talk about the plot, performances, music and many more things from the movie.

The movie released on Hotstar on 14th August 2020, the movie also stars Ahana Kumara, Anu Kapoor, and Shiv Pandit along with the lead pair Vidyut Jammwal and Shivaleeka Oberoi (Ye Saali Aashiqui fame actress), the movie is directed by Faruk Kabir, who is known for the movie Allah Ke Bandey.

Story

Story of the movie revolves around the Sameer, (Played by Vidyut Jammwal), the wife of Sameer Nargish goes to Noman for the job, but there she got kidnapped by some brokers who run the business of girls supplying for their clients, somehow Nargis manages to call her husband Sameer and she tell the whole story of Sameer, Sameer came to rescue the Nargish from Noman, first, he tries to get help from the local police but he fails initially and decides to found the Nargis all alone, after the involvement of Indian embassy, local agency ISA also helps him, and from here starts an action pack thriller, what happens next, would Sameer able to get Nargish back, to know this, You have to watch the movie.

Performances 

I loved shivaleeka from her first movie Ye Saali Aashqiui itself, she was just amazing in that, and here in the movie she is equally good, although she didn’t get much screen time, but she is amazing in this movie too, she has really a bright future ahead, Vidyut Jammwal is just brilliant in the movie too, his acting skill has got better and better movie by movie, his last movie Yaara, didn’t full fill his potential but this one has everything, he is just stunning, his expression, his chemistry with Shivaleeka and more importantly the action, everything is balanced in the movie, Anu Malik is equally brilliant along with the Ahana Kumra and Shiv Pandit, the movie is a one-man show, and that man is our Vidyut Jammwal.

Screenplay, Editing & More

To be honest, the plot of the movie is a little weak and it was all Vidyut’s action that saves the movie, the story is very simple and predictable too, like old Bollywood movies, so the movie is very much week in terms of Screenplay, The music of the movie is soothing and I liked the title track of the movie, one more romantic song from the movie is very soothing, the editing part of the movie is also lacking a little bit, few scenes were not needed, songs are little long and I think the movie should be 20 minutes shorter.

Actions from the movie are brilliant, the first fight sequence from the movie is just up the level, the chasing scenes were little less exciting, overall the movie’s action is Up in level from the normal Bollywood movies, but it was down if we compare from Commando series.

Overall

I would go with the 3.5 out of 5 for the movie, the movie is a complete family entertainer, if you want to watch an action movie with family this independence weekend, this movie is the best option for you, don’t expect Commando series like action, otherwise you may get disappointed, If you are looking for some light action movie, go and watch this on Hotstar.
