JUJUTSU KAISEN 0 REVIEW: The Ultra-hyped anime movie from MAPPA Production is now all yours, it’s released on big screens on 30th June 2022. I’ve watched the film yesterday and here are my opinions and highlights about the film. I’m gonna tell you about it whether you should spend your money on this or not.
Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is a dark fantasy film directed by Park Sunghoo and it’s a prequel to the anime series Jujutsu Kaisen by Akutami Gege. One of the best shonen films in recent times. Film premises with a food stroke started with a bit similar to the series, the show follows the backstory.
Itadori Yuji can be seen as an active and sporty jock even before training. Satoru Gojo was sparkling there with his cool heroism looks. Also, how can I forget about them, Yuji’s friends Nobara & Megumi, these two look great as they looked in the series. Also, there’s a character Yuta, a special grade sorcerer who was haunted by his departed childhood friend, and his crush is a meek and troubled kid. Also can be said that Itadori went the same path as Yuta.
The story does a flawless job of fleshing out Yuta’s past and showing how he came to be attached to a Curse. Also, I found out while watching it that the curse attached to him is none but the childhood crush/love Rika. Rika who is a muscular, fang-bearing demonic curse wasn’t the most terrifying but her mannerisms got us tight which occurs terror.
The film has every emotion if you count. Every time when Rika speaks to Yuta that feels like a child-like innocence and it’s totally wrenched my heart.
Alike the whole series, the film has top-notch animation which is extremely well crafted and will leave anyone in awe. Each action sequences are jaw-dropping and lit af. Especially, the fight scenes involving Nanami & Mei are literally awestruck. Honestly, I didn’t even know how many times I got goosebumps seeing this masterpiece.
The show turns a bit and welcomes the villain Suguru Geto, who believes that only Jujutsu sorcerers should live and all humans must die. The film is really interesting and engaging. You’ll be glued to the screen and can’t even feel it to move a bit. How the film shows the backstories of characters is quite impressive which helps us to understand better.
To me, I’ve watched the Jujutsu Kaisen a long back and I totally loved the whole of it and I’ve also finished the manga already. If you’ve watched the series you’ll surely gonna love it. I would love to recommend to you all to watch it in theatres only.
I’m giving this film 4 out of 5 stars because it deserves love. If it’s available near you then go for it or you may regret it later.
