Indori Ishq Review: Mx Player original series Indori Ishq is now available to watch on Mx Player for free, the series stars ‘Flames’ series superstar Ritvik Sahore in the main lead role, I was having huge expectation from the series as Ritvik is such a brilliant actor, I Just finished the series and here I am with the review of Indori Ishq, I am going to talk about performances, Plot and few more highlights of the web series.
The web series stars Ritvik Sahore as Kunal and Vedika Bhandari as Tara in main lead roles, the series also stars Aashay Kulkarni as Mahesh, Dheer Hira as Hari, Dona Munshi as Reshma, Tithi Raj as Kamna, and Meera Joshi as Alia in crucial roles, the series is created by Samit Kakkad. The series has a total of 9 episodes and all episodes are approx 30 minutes long, the series is full of verbal abuse and Skin show, so don’t watch the series with family and Kids.
Plot
The plot of the series revolves around Kunal and Tara, Kunal and Tara used to love each other and Kunal was so mad at her. Their love life was going fine and all of a sudden Kunal Noticed that Tara is hiding something from him and she is cheating on Him, when he decided to go deep into the case, he gets to know some shocking facts, he can’t believe these things. Why Tara was cheating on Kunal ? and with whom Tara was cheating? what was the destiny of their love story, to know this you have to watch the full series on Mx Player?
Performances
I am a huge fan of Ritwik but this role was not for him, he looks bizarre and very bad, his acting was at his all-time low, this role doesn’t fit him, his beard is as fake as that Helicopter scene in Radhe. He looks very bad in the role of Kunal, nothing suits him, not even a single frame. Some roles are not meant for some actors and this was the case with Ritwik in the Indori Ishq series. Vedika Bhandari as Tara was good in her role and she is one of the best performers of the series, She looks great during some emotional conversation and the way she changes her emotional expressions during the switch scenes was just amazing.
Akshay Kulkarni and Dheer Hira were decent in their roles, they tried all their best and somewhat they are successful in putting impact in the series with their performances. Other actors like Dona Munshi, Tithi Raj, and Meers Joshi were good enough with their performances.
Analysis
I want to ask the same questions again with the makers, why to waste money on these silly writings?, Mx Player needs to improve their content strategy, The series looks like a bad mixture of Kabir Singh and Broken But Beautiful season 3. Illogical abuses, bizarre scenes, and a directionless plot. This is not that old audience, who would love the same old story of love, betrayal, and revenge, makers need to think again and again before making anything. Mx had gained a huge reputation after the blockbusters like Bhaukal, Raktachnal, Ek Thi Begum, and others and it looks they are ruining their image.
The story is very predictable, even after episode 1, you can guess what is going to happen next and the climax was so illogical that you would laugh at it. Poor performance by Rtvik gives another setback to the series. The screenplay was poor, the editing was very average, the locations were decent and the music of the series was average.
