Eesho Movie Review: Malayalam Film industry is known for some great thrillers, Drishyam series is the best example of that, another thriller film titled ‘Esho’ was released as the direct OTT release on Sonyliv today, here is the detailed review of the film.
The film stars Jayasurya, Namitha Pramod, Jaffer Idukki, and Suresh Krishna in the main lead roles, The film is Directed by Nadirsha, The film is around 1 Hour and 30 Minutes long and you can watch the film with family and Kids, the film is available in Hindi, Malayalam and few more dubbed versions along with subtitles.
The story of the film revolves around Esho Played by Jayasurya, who is a Serial Killer, Esho was assigned to kill, Pillai (Who is Atm Guard) who is a crucial witness in a big case against a powerful personality. When reaches the ATM for Killing something happened that no one had expected, will Eesho be able to Kill Pillai? or something has changed his Plan, to know this you have to watch the full movie on SonyLiv.
The sad thing about the film is, The film doesn’t have any thrilling moments, the story is almost predictable and the film is more about Moral teaching then an entertainer, I was expecting more thrill and suspense in the film but on the whole, everything was missing.
Jayasurya was brilliant in his role and that’s the biggest Plus of the film, he looks so good in the film and his transformations and the acting throughout the film were amazing, at few places he looks so good and then the way he changes his expressions during the frames was simply brilliant. Jaffer Idukki as Pillai is another Plus for the film, he looks innocent and his performance in the film is so Pure, he is living in the character and you are going to feel his role.

Rest other actors have nothing much to do in the film, Namitha Pramod as an advocate was decent and Suresh Krishna was also good in his role.
The weak story and the screenplay spoil the whole film, the film starts slow, tries to get the momentum but then falls flat and from there it goes the same, as I said earlier, the film lacks that thrill itself. The Music is decent, the locations were amazing and they look super real. The editing is little Poor and the dialogues were decent too.
I am going with 2 Out of 5 stars for the Film, the lacks the main element that is thrill and suspense, the film is more of an Ethics and Moral film then a thriller, I will suggest you skip the film.
Rating: 2/5
