Dunki Day 9 Collection: Shah Rukh Khan’s movie Dunki made its way to the big screen on 21st December with a total budget of Rs. 120 Cr. The film seems to have received a decent amount of love and support from the public and seems all set to be the 3rd blockbuster by SRK this year after Pathaan and Jawan. Raj Kumar Hirani has directed this film and written it along with Abhijat Joshi and Kanika Dhillon. The overall narration and storytelling of the movie have done well.

The cast, with Shah Rukh Khan as Hardayal “Hardy” Singh Dhillon, Anil Grover as Balli Vikram Kochhar, Taapsee Pannu as Mannu, and Boman Irani as Gulati, has also given a great performance in the movie. The cinematographers Manush Nandan, C.K. Muraleedharan, and Amit Roy have done a great job in making this film a good movie to watch, which has comedy and drama in it about the illegal way of crossing the border from India via immigrants’ techniques for countries like USA, UK, and Canada.

Although the film didn’t have as great an opening day collection as the other two films of SRK, it still managed to show some stability on a regular basis. Also, Dunki has made multiple records at the Box Office.

It is the 116th film to cross the Rs. 100 Cr mark in Hindi cinema in India and also the 10th film of SRK’s to do so. The movie is focused on the backdoor entry by which illegal immigrants enter countries like the UK, US, and Canada. It also tries to show the challenges and difficulties faced in the individual’s life by this decision and the turns they had in their life due to this when they try to return back to their homeland.

At the end of 2023, finally, the Indian film industry has witnessed a big clash between two huge superstars. SRK’s Dunki was released on 21st December, and the Rebel Star Prabhas’ film Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire got released on 22nd December. Both the films seem to be doing well in terms of revenue at the box office.”
