The Duffer Brothers are on a roll with quality content, its just been one week since they dropped a nuclear-level bomb on the world titled “Stranger Things” and now we have another piece of news that they’ve created a Production company called “Upside Down” which is of course, why not! It’s an homage to Stranger Things and figuratively, it means a lot when you focus.

With this new Production House, they’re going to create new and interesting projects. How many? We do not know but one name has been released officially and that sort of comes with a lot of mixed feelings. Duffer Brothers announced that they will be working on a Live-Action adaptation of Death Note, the all-time best favorite anime of all the anime around the world.

The reputation of Death Note is so high that it’s the first anime weebs had watched before they were sucked into the world of ANIME. Now, the news comes with mixed reviews because Death Note, the anime has been remade into movies, series, and a Netflix LIVE-Action adaptation that was released in 2017 with Nat Wolff playing Light and Willem Defoe playing Ryuk.

The film was met with a lot of negative reviews. Now, The Duffer Brothers are going to try their luck with remaking it which looks quite promising because of their reputation since Stranger Thing has been one of most awaited shows but the Duffer Brothers are delivering every time so it’s not a bad thing after all that they’ll work on Death Note LIVE-Action adaptation. No official news other than that has been released by now.

"I'm just a humble cinephile with a knack for stringing words together. My reviews may not be as fancy as "The Grand Budapest Hotel" but they'll give you a good idea of whether a movie is worth the ticket price. I may not be a "Casablanca" of criticism, but I'll always give you my honest opinion. So join me on this journey of cinematic discovery, it's sure to be "One for the Ages."
