Bhaag Beanie Bhaag Review: Swara Bhaskar is in news again, don’t worry this article is not about any political controversy, but she is in news due to her new web series titled Bhaag Beanie Bhaag, Netflix original comedy series Bhaag Beanie Bhaag is now streaming on the platform and here in the post we are going to review the web series.

The web series stars Swara Bhasker, Varun Thakur, Ravi Patel, Girish, Mona Ambegaonkar, and Dolly Singh in crucial roles, the web series is created by Neel Shah and Ravi Patel, and all 6 episodes of the series is now released on the platform. let’s jump to review.

Plot

The plot of the series is very clear from the trailer itself, Bhaag Beanie Bhaag is a story about a Middle-class girl who aspires to become a standup comedian, and for that, she decided to ditch is a happy family and love life, she ditched her marriage and love and goes the family for pursuing a career in the Standup comedy and she left also left her handsome package job. Would she able to make her name in the standup field, the series is all about this.

Performances

The best and only good part of the series, actors have done a good job, after shitty Rashbhari and decent Flesh (web series) Swara looks decent in the role, she is good at her acting and it looks like old Swara is coming back once again, Ravi Patel is brilliant and he is one of the main highlights of the series, the series is mainly about these two only. The actors from the series were equally good and they tried their best, the plot was weak and dialogues and oneliners were so weak that actors can’t do much.

Screenplay, Writing & Others

The weakest part of the series, the series looks dull in episode 1 itself, dialogues are very weak, standup comedy oneliners are at all times, there are fake laughs, honestly speaking, you would merely get any laugh by listening to that standup comedy acts done by Beanie. The plot is directionless, the story starts as a standup comedy and slowly turns into a love triangle, then there is the same old drama “he loves her, she loves someone else’ after a time it feels like you are watching some Romantic Drama series. The locations were good, music was decent.

Overall

We are going with the 2 out of 5 stars for the series, the series is unfunny is it doesn’t make you laugh at all, the series starts as a comedy and ended as a love triangle, if you have nothing to watch then you can have a look at the series, otherwise skip it.

There are few scenes in the series which can be uncomfortable for conservative family, so if you belong to that category, don’t watch it with family or kids, there are 6 episodes in the series and all are approx 27-30 minutes in length.
