The film is based on real incidents, we have already covered one of the characters of the film Prem Singh now we are going to tell you about the house owner.
we are going to tell if the character of the house owner that was shown in the film is based on the real person or not going to tell where he is now and what happen what happened to him.
Before jumping directly to the topic let’s have a quick recap about the film. The film begins at Delhi Sector 36 where we get to see that the small children from a local slum are disappearing and the police are doing nothing. Here we get to see one of the characters Inspector Pandey who is corrupt and does nothing even if the locals their missing children. The film takes a turn when on Dussehra night Inspector Pandey’s daughter is about to kidnap but somehow he manages to save her.
After this incident, Inspector Pandey decided that he would investigate each and every case and try to find out what happened to those missing kids. Inspector Pandey started an investigation and he came to know that one of the hospital workers was involved in organ trafficking when he followed him. Upon digging deep he found a connection between Prem Singh and a bungalow in Sector 36. The owner of the bungalow was Bassi Singh who was a businessman with great influential reach.
When Inspector Pandey reaches to the bungalow bassi uses his influential power and contacts the DGP of the police he complains about Pandey from the DGP. DGP Slams Pandey and asks him to stay away from this case and not target Bassi. A few months later the DGP of transferred to some other place and a new DGP arrived.

The new DGP had a clean record and Pandey decided to restart the case. with the support of the new DGP Pandey arrested Prem Singh and revealed everything that had happened in the house. The confession was shocking as well as inhuman. Prem Singh reveals that he used to kidnap small children and girls r@pes them and even eat their flesh. Upon more questioning, He also reveals that his Bassi Singh is also involved in all this after that Bassi Singh was arrested.
Now many of you may ask if the character of Bassi is based on real real-life person. The answer is yes the character of buses is based on a real-life person named Monider Singh Pandher. In real life is the owner of the bungalow named D5 in Noida Sector 31. We have already discussed that the real name of Prem Singh was Surinder Kolli and upon his confession, Kolli confessed that all those crimes happened in the same D5 bungalow.
Both servant and master were arrested in 2006 the case goes on for 17 years and shockingly in 2023 Allahabad High Court released both Surendra Koli and Moninder. Police failed to establish any direct participation of Maninder, and that’s due to the lack of evidence Maninder was granted bail in 2023 due to lack of evidence Surinder Kohli was also acquitted from the jail. in July 2024 CBI requested the Supreme Court to look after the verdict and to change that but there is no update as of now in the case.
So, the conclusion is that the character of Bassi is inspired by the real-life Maninder Singh and currently he is free from all the charges and his living life. The case is now pending in the Supreme Court and we will keep you updated if there is any update on this case and about the Supreme Court verdict too.
