Salman Khan stated in December of last year that a sequel to his 2015 comedy-drama Bajrangi Bhaijaan is in the works, titled Pawan Putra Bhaijaan. After completing Tiger 3, No Entry 2, and Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, the actor stated that he will begin filming for the project.
We now have another update on Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s much-anticipated second installment. K V Vijayendra Prasad, a respected writer, announced to Pinkvilla that he will begin writing the script shortly. Writer Prasad says that he has pitched the story to Salman Khan a while back, and he liked it.
He said that he would start writing the script in May. Prasad says the film would be a continuation when asked if the sequel will be a continuation of Part 1 or an entirely new plot. In addition to Salman, the 2015 original starred Kareena Kapoor Khan, Harshaali Malhotra, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
Further adding the writer says Bajrangi Bhaijaan is one of his most memorable experiences for him and he will never forget what the movie did for him professionally. He also says that Salman and he have always worked well together, and they have cherished the years we have spent together.
He also says he would love to collaborate with Salman any day. On asking about his journey he said that they both had a fantastic ride together, and he would give his best to work with Salman again, whether it’s on a Bajrangi sequel or something else.
