Ante Sundaraniki Review: It is an Era of heroism at the box office, if you see the box office records of 2022 releases in any industry you will find one thing in common, the film with big action sequences are blockbusters if they have a great story, Comedy films rarely getting love although. Don (Tamil) and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 are some exceptions. Here is the review of the Nani’s Ante Sundaraniki.
I am going to tell you about the Good and bad of the film, The film stars Nani in the main lead role along with Nazriya Nazim in the female lead, the film also stars Naresh and Rohini in the crucial roles, The film is produced by Mytrhi Movie makers and directed and written by Vivek Athreya. The film is around 170 minutes long and available to watch on big screens in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam versions, here goes the review of the film.
The plot of the film was clear from the trailer itself, the film revolves around Sundar who wants to go to the USA at any cost but his father is Very superstitious and he is not allowing him to go, in all between these when Sundar meets Leela, he thought that she might his way to the USA, as Sundar belongs to orthodox Brahmin family and Leela is Christian, will they able to get marry? how Sundar will manage all these things and will be able to go to the USA, the film is all about that.
The film has nothing much to show in terms of acting, Nani looks normal in the film and that old Spark that was in his last character in ‘Shyam Singh Roy’ was missing here, the script may the reason behind it, He was good during the fun sequences and he will make you laugh, Nazriya Nazim looks pretty and his chemistry with Nani was good to watch, her dialogue delivery was great and she was pretty amazing in terms of performance in the Second Half of the film.
Naresh is the funniest Character for me in the film, he just nailed it and he is going to make you laugh with his silly dialogues, the sequence between Naresh and Naini was great to watch, His innocent face dialogues on the screens add a major boost to the comedy in the film. Nadhiya played the supporting role Very beautifully, the rest other characters like Azhagam Perumal and Rohini were decent in their role, and Anupama was brilliant in the cameo.
The film was super slow in the first half itself, there were some fun sequences, but most of them were not up to the mark and the film mostly bores you in the first half. The pre-interval block adds some comic boost to the film but the same goes with the post-interval block too, the story becomes slow and very predictable again and it looks like you have watched everything in the trailer itself. The screenplay of the film is Lazy, the Music and BGm are average and the Plot and storyline of the film are not up to that level, The film is an OTT material and it would have performed great if makers opted for a direct OTT release.

I am going with 2.8 out of 5 stars for the film, The film has some good moments and some laughter, but those were not enough to make the film a big-screen material, The duration of the film is another big issue, with films like ‘Vikram’ and ‘Major’ on the big screens, the chance of this film is very rare, Still, if you are a Nani fan and you watch to watch the film, You can watch it in the cinema halls near you.
