Yesterday (20 August) Akshay Kumar along with the other crew of the film launched the trailer of his Disney+Hostar original movie Cuttputlli, This film features Akshay Kumar, Rakul Preet Singh, Chandrachur Singh, and Sargun Mehta.

He talked about the failure of his films at the box office. He said “If his films are not working, it is his fault, He will have to make the changes, He will have to understand what the audience wants, He wants to make changes, He wants to dismantle his way of working and think about what kind of films He should be doing in the future. Nobody is to be blamed but himself.
The actor was asked that wheater he is playing safe by releasing his film on OTT, and he replied “It is not safe, that also requires people to say if they like the trailer or not wheater they liked the film or not, Even on OTT people, media and critics are watching and judging the film the audience is watching the film they give feedback whether they like it or not. So, there’s nothing like creating a safety net, you have to work hard, period.”
