AK VS AK Movie Review (Netflix): Keeping his political statements aside, I am a huge fan of Anurag Kashyap, his films, and his direction, he is just mindblowing in terms of film making, I was so excited for his movie AK VS AK and finally it released on the Netflix and here in the post I am going to review the movie.

The movie stars Anurag Kashyap, Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, and Harshvardhan Kapoor in crucial roles, it also has Boney Kapoor and few others in shot cameos, the movie is directed by Vikramaditya Motwani. Let’s jump to the review.

Plot

The fresh part of the movie is the plot itself, the plot revolves around a Director (Anurag Kashyap) who wants to cast Anil Kapoor for his next movie but due to dates issues he denied, now the director kidnaps Sonam Kapoor and ask Anil Kapoor to find her and he also added that Anil Kapoor can’t involve any third person into it when Anil Kapoor starts finding the Sonam Kapoor, Anurag Kashyap Starts filming the whole incident, in the climax something shocking happens that would the change the whole scenario, what was that and what happens to Sonam, to know this you have to watch the full movie on Netflix.

The best part about the movie is, the movie is real and reel at the same time, the actors are acting with their real names and characters and I found that amazing, Vikramaditya Motwani is brilliant and I would appreciate the whole team who made this movie possible.

Performances

Anil Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap are the only two main character of the movie, Anil Kapoor is good and Anurag Kashyap is brilliant, he is just amazing, Anil Kapoor looks realistic and the same is with Anurag Kashyap, Harshvardhan Kapoor irritates sometimes, while Sonam Kapoor is at her another low, res cast of the movie were decent in terms of performances.

Screenplay

The positive point of Anurag Kashyap’s films are, they keep you to the seats through the whole movie, his movies like Raman Raghav, Gangs Of Wasseypur, and others were so thrilling that you can’t take your eyes from the movie while watching them. The AK VS AK is not that same, but still, it manages to thrill you, although the movie goes a little slow in the middle, still, it is watchable. The editing is good and locations are brilliant and the locations look realistic. There is nothing much in the movie in terms of music.
