Sunflower Review Zee5: Sunil Grover is back to our screens, not with Kapil Sharma Show but a crime thriller titled Sunflower. Zee5’s original web series ‘Sunflower’ released today on Zee5. I finished the web series and here I am with the Positives and Negatives of the web series, I am going to talk about the Performance, Plot, and many more details of the series.

The web series has a total of 8 episodes, the series has some strong dialogues and a little show of skin too, so the series is not suitable to watch with family and Kids, all episodes are approx 35-40 minutes long and available in Hindi audio with subtitles. The web series is created by Vikash Behal and stars Sunil Grover in main lead roles.

Story

The story of the series is about murder in the ‘Sunflower’ society. Raj Kapoor is found dead in his apartment which is in the sunflower society. Police Start investigation of the case and while asking questions from the residents of the society police get to know that many people are prime suspects of murder. Apart from everyone Sonu (Played By Sunil Grover) turns out to be a prime suspect of the murder. When Cops look deep into the case they came to a shocking end, who was the killer? and what was his motive to know this you have to watch the full web series on Zee5.

Performances

Sunil Grover is just at the next level, he is playing the role of the person who is suffering from Obsessive-compulsive disorder, He keeps everything perfectly organized even his doormat and the things on his office table, his expressions, his body languages, and dialogue delivery is just superb. He is just too awesome in the series, he makes you laugh even with his simple dialogues. Mr. Ahuja (Mukul Chadda) who is playing the role of the professor was also good in his role, his mood swings were great to watch and the way he has performed is brilliant, the Same applies to Radha Bhatt who is playing the role of the wife of Mr. Ahuja.

Ranveer Sorey was good as always in the role of a cop, who is sincere and strict while Girish Kulkarni is in his same old avatar in the role of Naughty Police Inspector, They both have done a good job and their facial expressions were enough to make you laugh sometimes. The rest of the actors like Asish Vidyarthi and Dayana Errapa were decent enough to watch.

Analysis

The beginning of the show is just brilliant, the first 3 episodes are just amazing and after that, the series goes a little slow till the 6th episode and from here it would keep you hooked till the end, the story, concept, and screenplay everything is superb. The Bgm of the series needs special mention, it’s great and it adds major positive to the series. The climax is a little confusing and it would keep you waiting for the next season but it was satisfying for me. The editing is decent and the locations were brilliant. Few episodes from the series need tight editing especially the episodes with the love angle of Sonu. The rest of the things from the series were good and it makes this series a perfect watch.
