The Girl In The Train (Hindi) Review: I was waiting for this movie for so long when the movie was announced, I was so excited to watch it in cinema halls, but due to the circumstances the movie goes for direct OTT release and Netflix released the movie today, here in the post we are going to review the movie.
The movie stars Parineeti Chopra, Aditi Rao Haidri, Avinash Tiwari, and Kirti Kulhari in lead roles, the movie is approx 2 hours long and is based upon Paula Hawkins’s bestseller The Girl on the Train, Hollywood also made the movie on the same book of the same name in 2016 and that was a flop at the box office. Let’s jump to the review of Parineeti’s Chopra starer Hindi version of The Girl On The Train.
Plot
The plot of the movie revolved around A murder of a girl Nushrat, a girl in the UK who was found murdered near the lake, and Mira (played by Parineeti) is the main accused, Meera found that there is something Fishy in the case and she hasn’t murdered Nushrat, She starts investigating by herself and the investigation ends with shocking results, who was the killer and Why he/she killed Nushrat?, to know the motive and the killer, you have to watch the full movie on Netflix.
Performances
I have seen lots of performances on drunk acting but this is just beyond everyone, I mean, how can directors approve this, there are lots of overacting and Parineeti is at her all-time low, She sometimes looks good but most of the time she is unbearable and thanks to the storytelling it makes it more worst. Avinash Tiwari is such a brilliant actor but I don’t know what he was doing here, he is also below average, Aditi Rao Haidri looks good and Kirti Kulhari looks amazing and she is only positive from the movie.
Analysis
When you go on vacation in Uk and suddenly you think that let’s make a film in your free time and then you ended up making a film like ‘The Girl In The Train’, I mean what was this? why are your filming English accents in a Hindi movie? there are funny and irritating dialogues in the movie that makes no sense at all and this one is my personal favorite “Main usse Kabhi nahi bata paayi, woh main nahi thi, woh mera wound tha” I was like what? seriously. The storytelling is very poor, I have one more question, If you are making a remake, Just keep it as it is, why are you doing your experiments?.
The editing is very and I have no words for the climax, I don’t know what they are trying to make, thank god the movie goes for direct OTT release.
