Vettaiyan Day 1 Collection: Rajnikant Starrer ‘Vettaiyan’ was released at the box office today and his fans are loving the film. The buzz of the film is not as high as the last few films Rajnikanth and the advance numbers were also low.

The film has collected around 18 Crores in Advance bookings for Day 1 and with these numbers, the film is expected to collect around 40 Crores on Day 1. The film is expected to open in huge numbers in Tamil regions and Hindi belts are null and dull.
The last film of Rajnikant, the Jailer collected around 48 Crores on Day 1 in India and it is almost sure that this film will not cross the Day 1 Mark of Jailer and it will remain under 45 Crores. The worldwide numbers of the film are also not up to the mark and collections.
The film is going to clash with Jigra and Vicky Vidya ka wo Wala Video at the Hindi box office and chances are rare that Vettaiyan will collect anything in front of these films.
