Prem Singh Sector 36: Netflix’s original film ‘Sector 36’ turns out to be a shocker for many. The film is inspired by real-life incidents and all the characters of the film are related to real-life characters. A missing girl was last seen at the Kothi, and there he meets the owner of Bungalow Bassi and his servant Prem Singh. Later on, upon doing a serious investigation, he came to the conclusion that all those kidnappings were done by Prem Singh and he is Psycho, a Serial Killer.

The answer is Yes, The character of Prem Singh is inspired by the real-life character of Surinder Koli. The whole film is based on the shocking real-life incident of Nithari Killings and Surinder Koli was a servant at ‘Moninder Singh Pandher’s ‘ Kothi in Sector 31 in real life.

When the investigation began, Koli confessed his crimes and he was arrested in the case in 2006, his head of the house was also arrested in the case. The case went on for 17 Years and in 2023, the Allahabad High Court acquitted both Surinder and Mohinder due to lack of evidence. Shocking isn’t it?
Now coming to the question, Where is Surinder Koli Now? He is living his life freely and he is not inside the Jail as of now. The latest update regarding the case is that the CBI has requested the Supreme Court to review at the verdict given by the Allahabad High Court. Supreme court has also issued a Notice of Koli on July 23rd, 2023 and from then there has been no update on this case.
