Story
The story is about a murder of Rich man Raghubeer Singh, who got murdered at his second wedding Night, the Polic cop Jatil Yadav, Played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui takes the charge to investigate the case, the first wife of Raghubeer Yadav was murdered 5 Years back and which is still the mystery, the Raghubeer Singh’s family is very confusing and each one seems as suspect to Jatil Yadav, While investigating the case one more murder took place and that put the case into huge confusion while solving the case Jatil Yadav came to know about few past connections that was shocking and were related to the murder, we can’t reveal the much story here as it may be a spoiler for you, To know who was the killer, You have to watch this 2 hours and 30 minutes long Slow Burn thriller.
Performances
Nawazuddin Siddiqui again shines in the movie, he is just phenomenal as Cop, there are few scenes in the movie where he would also make you laugh with his awesome comic timing if we talk about the role as Police cop, he just fits perfectly into it, Radhika Apte as a second wife of Ragubeer and prime murder suspect also shines in the movie, the movie is full of talented actors and it is their actions which is one of the prime reason to watch the movie, Aditya Srivastav (CID”s Daya) is playing the role of MLA Munna Raja and he fits there too, other actors have little or low presence on screen but still, everyone is just mindblowing.
Screenplay & Editing
From the first second of the movie, the movie looks gripping and it holds you onto your seats, after the murder the movie goes little slow while the investigation was taking place, but it ends brilliantly, as we have already mentioned the movie is a slow burn and you have wait too long for the mystery to be revealed, but trust me it would be worth waiting, the editing of the movie could be better, the chasing scenes and the investigation scenes were little time taking and few of songs were not needed at all, today’s generation wants some fast movie series like Betaal and Avrodh, but still, this movie is up to the mark and it worth your time.
Overall
We are going with 3.8 out of 5 stars for the movie, the movie is an inch close to the blockbuster, I personally feel that movie was a little long, if it was around 90 minutes or something, it would a sure shot blockbuster, still this one deserves your time and attention, the movie is 2 hours and 30 minutes long and now streaming on Netflix.
