Atithi Bhooto Bhava Review: Zee5 released two films of Scam 1992 fame Pratik Gandhi today, one film was Bhavai which is having a digital premiere today and the other one is a direct OTT release, The comedy-drama film titled ‘Atithi Bhooto Bhava’ released today as the direct OTT release, I just finished the film and here is the detailed review of the film.
The film is around 1 Hour and 50 Minutes long, The film stars talented actors like stars Jackie Shroff and Pratik Gandhi, The film also stars Sharmin Segal, Divina Thakur, and others. The film is directed by Hardik Gajjar and is now available on Zee5 in Hindi audio with subtitles. Here goes a detailed review of the film.
The plot of the film revolves around Netra and Srikant, They are in live-in for the last 4 years and Srikant takes Netra Kind of Granted, The life of Srikant Changed completely when he met a Ghost Makhan Singh Played by Jackie who claimed to be his Grandson, How Srikant life going to change after that and what is that past tragic story, to know this, You have to watch the full movie on the Zee5.
It’s sad to see Pratik doing films like this, He looks so bad in the film and he surely wants to forget this film, Bhavai is far better in terms of Performance, Pratik just failed to connect with the character, maybe after the Scam 1992, I have some big expectations from him, This one surely gonna be his poorest performance till date. Sharmin Segal looks brilliant, and she is found of the film for me, She nailed it in her role and she was looking super pretty and confident, Her dialogue delivery and emotional sequences were great to watch.
Jackie Shroff’s character looks a little confused, He gives the vibe of an ‘OM’ movie sometimes, although he was not that bad, this is not sure that Jackie that we want, He was good with the jokes sometimes, still those sequences were not enough to make the performance impactful. Divini Thakur was also decent in her role, The rest of the other characters were decent too.
REVIEW: Babli Bouncer Review: It’s A CRINGE | Hotstar
The biggest issue with the film is the story itself, the film looks odd and wired, there was no logic in the film and the comedy was null, There were a few sequences that may make you laugh, but most of them were null and dull, The runtime is great and that’s the best part about the film. The film looks annoying in the beginning and then got its Pace in the Middle, but again the ending was the issue with the film. The music, locations, and directions were again below average and don’t offer anything special.
I am going with 2 Out of 5 stars for the film, The film is annoying most of the film, I will suggest you Skip it, There are much better options available to watch on OTTS if you are a fan of Pratik, You may watch his film ‘bhavai’ which is also streaming on Zee5.
Rating: 2/5
