After watching Thor Love And Thunder, we know that the movie was heavily cut down, Recently Love And Thunder writer Jennifer Kaytin Robinson opened up about the role of Jane Foster aka Mighty Thor, and her storyline. She revealed that she was actually into writing for Captain Marvel 2 titled The Marvels.
Marvel chose her for Thor Love And Thunder instead of The Marvels. She told that Marvel decided to pair her up with Taika Waititi.
During the time she was hired, Taika Waititi was kind of busy with all the award season with Jojo Rabbit. Since Taika required someone to work with him on Thor 4, Marvel paired her with him to keep the story handled very well considering the fragile storyline.
She revealed that originally we were going to see Jane’s opening scene where she would’ve been fighting her cancer but it got changed later to Gorr’s backstory.
Of course, a lot has been cut already and Taika Waititi confirmed that they won’t release any of the deleted scenes since they are deleted for a reason as per him.
