The recently released and much-awaited Marvel movie Thor: Love And Thunder is printing heavy dollars at the box office worldwide. The movie is yet to release in China since it is still stuck in the censoring part. If we believe the insider sources, the movie will face issues in its release due to the mention and visuals of the LGBTQ+ community.
As per the sources, the Chinese Movie Authority has asked Marvel to cut all the mentions of LGBTQ scenes. Valkyrie is mentioned to be Bisexual in the movie while Thor’s friend Korg is shown as Gay. Just like the Eternals, this movie has a high chance to get banned in China if Marvel declines to make any cuts and changes.
Previously, Pixar’s animated movie “Lightyear” was completely banned in China due to Gay kissing scenes and LGBTQ+ mentions. Marvel’s Doctor Strange: Multiverse Of Madness was also banned in China for showing a lesbian couple and a lesbian superhero character.
Spiderman: No Way Home was the last Marvel movie that was released in China without any cuts or anything.
