Hoichoi was launched in September 2017 and is now in its 6th year, Hoichoi has over 110+ content and a great list of lineups ahead for this year.
A few months back Hoichoi revealed its upcoming lineup out of which some of the series have already been released. Hoichoi always tries to create unique and fresh content and it continues to impress the Bengali audiences and others as well with Hindi Dubbed content for free in MX player.
After entertaining us with Mahabharat Murders, Montu Pilot 2, Sabrina, etc Hoichoi also has a big lineup ahead for June.
Refugee On 10th June
The first lineup of Hoichoi for June will be the series “Refugee”. The series was created by Imtiaz Sazib. The series starts with Bangladeshi actors Afzal Hossain, Zakia Bari Mamo, and Shohel Mondol. Shohel Mondol has also previously worked for two hoichoi bangladesh-based series Taqdeer and Boli with renowned Chanchal Chowdhury. Hoichoi has already released the trailer of Refugee and it will stream from 10th June 2022.
The plot of the story will be based on a drug dealer played by Shohel Mondal who gets entangled in a deep conspiracy of lies where a supposed dangerous terrorist takes shelter in one of a camp who is planning big revenge. Set in the local localities and slums, and camps of Dhaka it will be a for sure cat mouse race between police officers who are hunting for the terrorist, drug peddlers who get linked into the chase, and the supposed to be the terrorist who is planning something big.
Feludar Goyendagiri On 17th June
After impressing its audience a lot with detective stories of Byomkesh Bakshi starring Anirban Bhattacharya and Eken Babu starring Anirban Chakrabarty Hoichoi is back with another franchise of detective none other than our all favorite Feluda. The Feluda series is created by Srijit Mukherjee who needs no introduction. The man behind some masterpieces of Bengali cinema. The kakababu movie franchise, Vinci Da, Dwitiyo Purush are all his creations.
The series star some of our very known faces Tota Roy Chowdhury as Feluda, Kalpan Mitra as Topse, and Jatayu played by none other than Eken Famed Anirban Chakrabarti. The series is based on Satyajit Ray’s story Darjeeling’s Jomjomat. The trailer of the series is already released on Hoichoi’s official channel and the series will premiere on 17th June 2022. The trailer looks super impressive. The plot of the series will be based on the original story where feluda will solve the case of a missing idol in Darjeeling with Topse and Jatayu. The music of the series is created by Joy Sarkar
Sampurna
An announcement of the series “Sampurna” created by Sanyatan Ghosal was already released on the Hoichoi official youtube channel. The cast includes Sohini Sarkar who has done many famous series for Hoichoi including the released highly anticipated series Mandaar and Srikanto. From the teaser, it seems to be a dark crime thriller about marriage, the fight for freedom, Domestic Violence, Pain, and Suffering. The official release date for the series is not yet revealed but Hoichoi doesn’t delay its content much after releasing its teaser so it can be expected to stream from the last half of June.
