9 Hours Review: Hotstar never fails to impress us with their Amazing content, the last released series on the Hotstar was Escaype live, the series received a mixed response from the audiences, and now they are coming back with another series, although the series is a PAN India series, the series was originally made in the Telugu audiences, here goes the review of the Hotstar original show 9 Hours.
The series stars Taraka Ratna, Vinod Kumar, Madhu Shalini, and Ravi Verma in the main led roles, the series also stars Preeti, Ankith Koya, Jwala Koti, and Monica Reddy in the crucial supporting roles, The show is created by Jacob Verghese and Niranjan Kaushik, Jacob is known for his film Prithvi IAS. There is a total of 9 episodes in the show and all are around 30-35 minutes long. There is no skin show in it and you can watch the show with family and Kids.
The plot of the story revolves around the robbery in the three banks, A group of prisoners decided to Robb the three branches of the same bank, the twisted part is they have to return to the Prison as they have to complete the attendance too. Everything was going as per plan, the first and second group successfully robbed the bank and they come out safely, the issue starts when the third group got trapped inside the bank and now the cops surrounded the whole bank Premise. What was the reason behind all these robberies and how it is connected to everyone, to know this you have to watch the full show on Hotstar?
Honestly speaking, I started watching the show very late as I was having no expectations from this, the trailer looks like a regular trailer and there was also no buzz regarding the show too, But trust me, this series surprises me, and it Surprises me a lot. There are lots of twists and turns in the show which you are going to love for the sure, there is a twist and each and every episode and all credit goes to the great screenplay.
The episodes are around 30-35 minutes long, but each episode has its own moments, and trust me you are going to love it, few sequences of the show are inspired by the Money Heist and it will be super surprised if you haven’t seen the original show. The BGM and music are the major pluses of the film, the show has one of the best BGM that any show has in recent times. The performances were decent and the lead actors have done a phenomenal job in the show.
Coming to the negatives, The show has many sequences, which doesn’t make sense at all, the climax is very poor and I must say it looks like a forced climax. The comedy sequences look super dull and there were dull jokes all around, I am not sure if this was due to the dubbed version. The locations were average and sometimes they failed to provide a realistic feel.
I am going with 3 Out of 5 Stars for the show, The show has some great moments and if you love the thrillers of this type, You are going to love it for sure, There series is going to exceed your expectations for sure, The series is suitable to watch with family and all 9 episodes are now streaming on Hotstar.
Positives – Story, Screenplay, Performances, BGM
Negatives – Climax, Comedy Sequences, Lacks Logic
