Sylvester Stallone, better known as Rambo the legend himself does not need any introduction. He is considered one of the best action stars and has proved again and again why is he one of the best.

His previous works have made him the star he is, let it be the Rocky Movies, which did not just do a very good business at the box office but also won an Oscar. Not only Rocky Movies are just about boxing, it’s a way of life and discipline that comes with it, that optimism to keep going.

Rocky’s Music still plays in gyms to pump you up. Sylvester Stallone has given us some really good movies, and some series like Rocky, Rambo, and The Expendables not to forget the standalone ones like Demolition Man, Cobra, and Cliffhanger. But what has happened now? There’s a new Sylvester Stallone film out titled “Backtrace” and it suffices to say that it would’ve been fine if the film hadn’t been released.

From the reviews that are out and the critics, just to get a brief sense of the chatter around the film, its very bad. The plot might sound good but the movie has been doing so poorly at the box office. With recent good productions coming from Lionsgate, this is a really bad one. With Stallone in it, his image did not do any good to the film as well. The screenplay for the film is average and the cinematography is too.

The film is about a thief who suffers from amnesia after a bank heist. Years after he is imprisoned, he is injected with some serum that makes him remember those memories so he can recover the money. The film is below average and you should watch it if you just want to kill some time.

"I'm just a humble cinephile with a knack for stringing words together. My reviews may not be as fancy as "The Grand Budapest Hotel" but they'll give you a good idea of whether a movie is worth the ticket price. I may not be a "Casablanca" of criticism, but I'll always give you my honest opinion. So join me on this journey of cinematic discovery, it's sure to be "One for the Ages."
