The Whale 2022 Movie: If you’re a Millennial and also a cinephile, there’s one actor that you have missed a lot that is part of some of the best childhood memories when it comes to movies. That’s none other than Brendan Fraser who starred in some of the iconic movies like The Mummy, George of The Jungle, Bedazzled, and many more.
The charms of Brendan have not gotten off of us and while it feels sad that Brendan is not being cast by a lot of directors these days. Last we saw Brendan in Doom Patrol and that too, him inside the body of a robot with some scenes where we get to see Brendan.
Brendan finally has gotten himself cast in a film titled “The Whale”, a Darren Aronofsky directorial for which he has put on 270 Kg weight! This film is based on a play of the same name by Samuel D. Hunter which is a psychological drama about a 270 Kg man who tries to reconnect with his daughter who he abandoned for his gay lover, who later dies.
Brendan Fraser’s first look for the film has been released and he looks phenomenal like he has given his all for this role. To see him after a long time and that too, with this change. It’s a change that fans did not expect him to undergo but definitely appreciate more than Brendan can imagine.
The film is going to be released this year but the exact date is not confirmed yet. We’ll let you know the update as soon as we hear about it.
