The Great British Bake-Off is back with a new Episode and a new theme which is “Dessert” this week. With the bakers preparing desserts and getting challenges that involve only that, the bakers did not have a great time in getting their bakes right since some looked amazing but did not taste good and some tasted amazing but did not look like the judges wanted them to look.
Well, there was an overlap in between which got us our first-ever Star Baker, this Episode was filled with colors and a whole lot of gelatine, literally.
Here are the challenges set by the judges
Signature Challenge: 8 Individual Steamed Puddings. Should be served with an accompaniment of the baker’s choice.
Technical Challenge: Lemon Meringue Pie
Showstopper Challenge: Visually spectacular mousse-based dessert with a surprise inside. Must have at least 3 further dessert elements one of which must be baked.
This week’s Star Baker was Sandro since he performed very well in his Signature & Technical but his complicated design of getting the Earth and fixing a core inside put him way up in the line for Star Baker after Maxy & Janusz’s bake was good as well.
It was Carole who got eliminated this week because of her weak performance in all the challenges.
