The CHI (pronounced as The Shy), a SHOWTIME series has come back for another season, specifically season 5 which comes after the conclusion of the 4th Season in 2021, it was renewed for the 5th season.
The series is based on some events that bring people of the south side of Chicago together, you can also think of it as an anthology and some fateful events bringing them together. The show was debuted in 2018 on SHOWTIME and it was met with good reviews from the critics and audiences.
The series was started when SHAMELESS was reigning on the same network for years which was also Chicago’s South side based. The CHI has been created by Lena Waithe (Master Of None, Ready Player One). The CHI Season 5 is going to follow the format it has been following previously, i.e., 10 Episodes this season releasing every week.
The first episode of Season 5 will release on June 26th, 2022, and the season will end on August 28, 2022. Season 5 First Episode has been released online on June 26 and is scheduled to release on SHOWTIME on June 26th, 2022. The show will release on 26th June 2022 at 9 PM GMT. The title of the episode will be “Overnight Celebrity”.
One of the reasons the show has been going on for the last 4 years and people have been loving it is that it portrays realism, it’s about life as it is.
