Shiksha Mandal Review: Stories inspired by real incidents are the new trend nowadays, the documentary shows like Indian Predator and House Of Burari were blockbusters on Netflix, SonyLiv original show Maharani was also a superhit, and Zee5 original show Rangbaaz Darr Ki Rajneeti is also doing great and No Mx Player is back with the Show titled ‘Shiksha Mandal’, Here is the detailed review of the show.
The show is of 9 episodes and each episode is around 30-35 Minutes long, the show is available in Hindi audio with subtitles, The show is not suitable to watch with Kids and Family. The Mx Player original show stars Gauhar Khan, Pavan Malhotra, And Gulshan Devaiah in the main lead roles, we are also going to see Rajendra Sheti, Anurag Kushwaha, Shivani Singh and others, The show is directed and created by Syed Ahmad Afzal.
Coming to the story of the show, Vidya A Medical Student goes missing from the Home on the day of the NEET exam result, Her Brother Aditya (Played by Gulshan) Starts searching for her, and during the investigations, he gets to know about some shocking and dark lineups which are linked to one of the biggest scams in India.
On the other hand, SIT Police team led by Anuradha (Played by Gauhar Khan) is also investigating the case. Who is the mastermind behind all this and where is Vidya Now?, to know this, You need to watch the full show on Mx Player.
I would like to keep it as simple as I can, Except for the three lead actors Gauhar Khan, Pavan Malhotra, and Gulshan Devaiah, and one more Puneet Kumar Mishra, almost everyone was super low in the show. The actors with small screen time were far better than those who were in lead, Iram Badar Khan was also decent as Vidya in the show.
Gulshan looks amazing in his role, he fits into it again, From Durango to this, He nailed it everywhere, Guahar Khan looks terrific in the role and she brings charm and confidence to the character, Pavan Malhotra as Dhasu Yadav was excellent, it looks like the role was for him. Rest there was no one who can put any impact on the series with the Performance.
The story is an absolute mess, The show was amazing in episode 1 and it was super fast, I thought it is going to be a great show but then in episode 2 and it turns around completely and from there it goes down, down, and down.
The dialogues are super funny and they will irritate you, There is one character who keeps saying ‘atti’chiude (Attitude) which irritates you like hell, There is one dialogue where a character says, ‘Lash Ko Pani Mein Daal Do, Aaj Magamacho Ko Patry Meri Taraf Se‘ seriously? Mx has started a Paid Plan and if you give shows like this, who gonna buy those Plans which are almost the same as Hotstar?
There is an angle of Personal and Home issues for Gahar Khan which also makes the show boring, creators should learn something from the makers of Delhi Crime. The music and BGM were average, The locations were good and the editing was also not up to the mark, 5 episodes were enough for the show.
I am going with 1.5 out of 5 stars for the show, The one star is only for the effort of the lead actors which makes the show a little bearable, Rest apart, there is nothing to watch. I will suggest you skip the show and wait for Friday, There are lots of films and shows are coming.
