Only Murders In The Building Season 2 Review: HULU’s Only Murders In The Building has released its finale of the Second Season recently and it has not disappointed us, for numerous reasons.

The HULU Original has been one of the most consistent shows this year in providing quality content, with mixed genres of Comedy, Crime, and Mystery. Season 2 had a total of 10 Episodes with this season focussing on the Murder of Bunny Folger who was the Arconia’s Manager.

Season 2 has managed to keep its consistent run of comedy with veteran actors Martin Short and Steve Martin who are also the Executive Producers of the show along with Selena Gomez. Right from the start, we’re introduced to all the old characters even the serial killer of the previous season with an added few, and its quite interesting that the creators and writers of the show kept it engaging with added plots that, didn’t lead to anything in the end but did add a whole lot of the show.

Season 2 was a joy ride, not specifically to the murder mystery only. It’s those moments that Oliver and Charles seem to have when their mind drift away from reality into IDK somewhere to their hidden feelings that they never let out with anyone, it all has been portrayed in a very good way.

Now, the killer of this Season turned out to be Poppy aka Becky Butler who is Cinda’s assistant along with Detective Kreps. The motive for the murder was simple, desperation. She desperation to be seen by her hero and get recognized for her work and in the end, get prized with her own podcast.

It is not until the end of the Livestream she reveals herself as the murderer when Cinda gives an opportunity to Mabel for her brilliant investigation.

Now, the ending. Well, towards the end the show introduced another character and yet again the creators surprised us with our beloved Paul Rudd who actually dies during a Broadway Show, and well, that’s about it. His Murder will be the main story of Season 3 and we’ll see about that.

Please comment about your take on the Season 2 of Only Murders In The Building.

"I'm just a humble cinephile with a knack for stringing words together. My reviews may not be as fancy as "The Grand Budapest Hotel" but they'll give you a good idea of whether a movie is worth the ticket price. I may not be a "Casablanca" of criticism, but I'll always give you my honest opinion. So join me on this journey of cinematic discovery, it's sure to be "One for the Ages."
