One of Us Is Lying follows the story of five high school students from Bayview High named Simon, Cooper, Addy, Nate, and Bronwyn who are given the order to live in detention. When we see Simon forming an online gossip group with his friend Janae in order to snitch on his classmates, she has a severe allergic reaction.
When we see the other four students, they had the motive to kill Simon and planned to make it look like his death was an accident.
