The Crown Season 5: Netflix has released the trailer for the highly anticipated fifth season of the upcoming historical drama series The Crown, which is based on actual events and tells the story of Queen Elizabeth II in a fictionalized form.

The Crown follows the life of Queen Elizabeth II from her wedding in 1947 to Philip till the early 21st century, This series portrayed the events of 1955 when Winston Churchill resigned as prime minister and another sister, Princess Margaret, decided not to marry Peter Townsend. In contrast, the other season covers the era in 1956, leading to the retirement of prime minister Anthony Eden in 1957.

The new season takes place from 1964 to 1977, when Harold Wilson was elected Prime Minister, and ends with the Queen’s Silver Jubilee, whereas the following season takes place from 1979 to 1990 when Margaret Thatcher was Prime Minister.

The Crown cast includes Claire Foy, Matt Smith, Vanessa Kirby, Eileen Atkins, Jeremy Northam, Victoria Hamilton, Ben Miles, Greg Wise, and Jared Harris in the main lead roles, We are also going to see John Lithgow, Alex Jennings, Lia Williams, Anton Lesser, Matthew Goode, Olivia Colman, Tobias Menzies in crucial roles, Apart from these Helena Bonham Carter, Ben Daniels, Jason Watkins, Stephen Boxer, Emerald Fennell, and more.

This series is created by Peter Morgan and is set to debut on November 9 exclusively on Netflix in Hindi and English.
