The series stars Shriya Pilgaonkar and Aasif Khan in the main lead role, along with Kubbra Sait and Lillete Dubey, the series is directed by Vikram Rai and the first 2 episodes are now streaming in Hindi audio with subtitles, The series is not suitable to watch with family and Kids. Let’s jump to the review.
The plot of the series revolves around the Murder of a Lady named ‘Mala Coutinho’ who belongs to a very reputed family in Goa, she was killed by someone in her bedroom, when Sanket Salelkar got the case, he took the help from Sarla to solve the case. While the investigation some shocking things comes out which indicated that everyone has a motive to kill Mala Coutinho. Coming to the performances, the first 2 episodes were mainly about Aasif Khan and Shriya, They both look amazing, to all those who don’t know, Aasif is the Guy from the Panchayat web series. Aasif is such an amazing actor and finally, he is getting a big role and he has just nailed it. He looks amazing in the character of the Police Inspector, his dialogue delivery, and body language everything was just amazing.
The character of Shriya Pilgaonkar is very much intense in the show and this role is very much different from her last character in the ‘Mirzapur’, She looks amazing too and this is going to be one of her finest performances to date.
It will be too early to judge the complete story and screenplay of the series in just 2 episodes, but the first 2 episodes were good enough to watch, although we had already seen similar stories, the fate of the series all depends on the ending and execution, we will update the review after that.
As of now, I am going with 2.8, The story seems similar, the performances are great and the Pace of the episodes is decent enough to watch, if you have time and want to see some great performances, you can have a look at it. If you are looking for something extraordinary, i will suggest you to skip it.
