Malikappuram Movie Review: The latest Malayalam devotional drama feel-good movie is now streaming on Hotstar in the Hindi language also Directed by Vishnu Sasi Shankar and the star cast includes Unni Mukundanand and Alphy Panjikaran.
The runtime of the movie is approx 2hrs written by Abhilash Pillai and the movie is rated suitable for all ages. In this article, I am going to give you a review of the movie so let’s get started.
The movie is about a small girl Kallu who is 8 years old living in a small village named Panchalimedu, her only wish as a child is to visit Sabarimala temple however women are not allowed in that temple will she be able to complete her dream to know this you have to watch the movie on Disney+ Hotstar.
The story and screenplay of the movie are not new to the majority of the audience, though the movie is specially made for kids and they will enjoy this film very much for those who have not visited the Sabarimala temple, feels like they are visiting the temple themselves.
Deva Nanda who plays Kallu wins the heart of audiences as she has done justice with her character with her innocence the other casting done is also perfect we feels emotionally attached to them.
The first half of the movie feels a bit slow but after the interval, the movie picks up its pace where we can see Unni Mukundan’s character as an extended cameo in the film which sets perfectly the music done in throughout the movie a great job done by Ranjin Raj.
The villain of the movie has not given enough time it seems like if he was given more time the second half of the movie could be made more intense and interesting, but the twist in the end and the message they want to give is done perfectly by the makers.
