Accroding to a news published in Popular Bollywood media Portal, There were news that Laal Singh Chadda be released on Netflix after 6 months of releasing in cinemas. He wanted that the box office performance and worlwide push the film would get them a Good Deal.
Aamir Khan considering his box office history demanded 125 crore and 6 months gap for OTT rights from Netflix, While Amir wants to release his film in China Netflix offered him 50 crore for the rights but Amir continued to ask for 125 crore. Amir assumed 300 crore from Indian Box Office and after that Netflix would come back later to grab the rights.
But now this film did disastrous performance at the box office and not only Netflix but other OTT platforms like Amazon Prime and Disneyplus Hotstar are not interested in bagging the rights, At last Amir have to release the film on Viacom 18 Studio’s OTT Voot as a formality.
