James Cameron is a person who has given many mega-blockbusters in his career. The Terminator, Titanic, Alita The Battle Angel, and Avatar are his extremely successful iconic movies.
We recently got our first look teaser of the upcoming sequel of Avatar, named “Avatar: The Way of Water” which follows the same universe the Avatar. Avatar was the biggest blockbuster ever for more than a whole decade.
James Cameron’s Avatar: The Way of Water will be hitting the theatres on December 16th, 2022. As per the recent rumors, James Cameron might leave the Pandora world sooner than you think to focus on other projects he wants to work on.
In an interview with the Empire, he revealed that he might be leaving the franchise in another director’s hands right after he finishes the remaining work on the third installment of Avatar. James Cameron revealed that the Avatar series takes all-time in the world and efforts. James wants to focus on other interesting projects as well and he is excited about those.
He says he is kind of over the Avatar series and might give the Avatar responsibilities to someone trustable and talented. These things are not decided yet but eventually, he will make a decision for sure.
Cameron revealed that the fourth movie of Avatar will be bonkers. He called it a corker and a motherfucker. He hopes that he will actually get to make it but it completely depends on the market forces. Part 3 is already almost finished so it’s gonna come out for sure.
He just hopes that he gets to make Avatar four and Avatar five since it’s one big story. Ultimately, that’s what it is. We can just hope that we get to see more of Avatar’s world from his wild and beautiful imagination.
