I Am Groot MARVEL Timeline, Where does “I Am Groot” fit in?: MARVEL’s “I Am Groot” has been released on Disney+ Hotstar recently and no matter how much we see of that cute beloved tree it’s not enough and these 5 shorts do not show us enough of Groot for hardcore Groot fans.
However, these shorts are promising and are definitely going to win you over but there’s one thing question looming over MARVEL fans and that is, where do these events take place in the official MARVEL Timeline? Here’s our take on this scenario
Now, you might remember that Groot sacrifices himself in the events of Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 1 and dies protecting Rocket and his friends but then we see himself as a child in Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2. In between the post-credits of Vol 1, we see that Groot is back from that little branch that Rocket had kept with him so this is evident that the shorts are taking place between that time.
However, there’s no definite timeline mentioned by the creators of the show and there’s quite a discussion going on but official comments have not been made.
The events after Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 1 and before Vol 2 make it most likely for the shorts to happen since Groot has grown in the events of Infinity War which took place after Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2.
