Oscar & Emmy Award Winning Emma Thompson who has never shied away from experimenting with new roles ever is back with another crazy film. Her new film titled “Good Luck To You, Leo Grande” which stars Emma Thompson in the lead role with Daryl McCormack (Pixie, Peaky Blinders).
The movie is about a widow who is in her 50s, looking for some adventure in her life along with human connection and hires a young sex worker for a night of pleasure. It’s a story about a retired teacher who wants some adventure in her life and the s3x worker who brings all the charm and together they find a surprising human connection between them.
The film is an s3x comedy which is not the typical genre to do for an actress in her 60s but Emma Thompson has taken on that challenge and delivered a good drama and sex comedy that the script so very much looked for. The male lead Daryl McCormack brings the perfect personification of a sex worker and the chemistry between them actually works! The film has been directed by the Australian Director Sophie Hyde who also directed the LGBT Film titled “52 Tuesdays”.
The film is a decent watch who want to see a good comedy with a human element in it. The film is out on Hulu now! Emma Thompson will be next seen in Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical.
