Ek Villain Returns Review: I still remember those days when the ‘Teri Galiyan’ was in every phone and every earphone, No one can forget those vibes, Sharadha Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra, and Ritesh Deshmukh. Now the makers are back with the sequel of the Much awaited film, the sequel is titled ‘Ek Villain Returns’.

Imagine you are going with huge hopes to watch the film directed by Mohit Suri and you get to see this, Yes I am talking about Mohit Suri’s Ek Villain Returns, I just finished the film and here is the detailed review of the film, I am going to tell you about the performances, story and few more highlights and drawbacks of the film.

The story in the first place is a joke, I mean who approves this kind of script, it is a mixture of a few recent releases, I am not going to give a spoiler., but the story of the film is a joke, You can just keep shifting the mindset of the characters to make the film more interesting and thrilling, there must be the logic behind that. Ek Villain Returns is a new low of Bollywood and trust me I had never seen the worst film than this. Coming to Mohit Suri, He is known for gems like Awarapan, Aashiqui 2, and Ek Villain.

Coming to the performances, Arjun Kapoor comes as a surprise package in this film, I think he needs to do more roles like this, These type of roles suits him and he was the best in film, His dialogue delivery, action sequences and rest other things, everything was up to the mark. Disha Patani looks Poor in the film, her character is weird and the same was with her performances, it looks like she is faking and those unnecessary laughs at serious moments make no sense at all.

Ek Villain Returns Budget

John Abraham looks like the same angry man, with the same fight sequences, same dialogue delivery, and almost the Photocopy of his characters from the Satyamev Jayate series. Tara Sutaria needs to work a lot in the script selection process and in acting too.

The songs were the best part of the film as I said earlier, Each and every song of the film was pure gold and those songs make the film a little bearable. The locations were good and the film looks realistic. The screenplay of the film is again a drawback, the film keeps shifting here and there and ends aimlessly.

Makers tried all their best to make a great suspense thriller film but they failed badly, If you are going to watch the film for Bold sequences, you are going to get cheated here too. Everything was there in the trailer and the film has nothing much to offer. Coming to the climax, It looks like it was inspired by 3-4 films.

I am going with 1 out of 5 stars for the film, The film is just another low-grade Romantic thriller from Bollywood, the film will be ejected by the audiences, if you still have some hopes and wants to watch the film on Big Screens, You can watch this 130 Minutes long film in the cinema halls near You.

The film stars Tara Sutaria, John Abraham, Disha Patani, and Arjun Kapoor in the main lead roles, The film is directed by Mohit Suri and Produced by the T series film.
