David DJ Carter Jr. Now?: Netflix’s “Unsolved Mysteries: Body In Bags” tells us about the gruesome murder of David Carter who was not a successful professional but also a loving father. His sudden demise left his only son DJ alone with only his memories.

David Carter and his ex-partner Samia Conner had an off and on-relationship but one thing they were very involved in was raising DJ together as co-parents. DJ stated in the show that he and his father would often do something together and were like best friends. At the time of the incident, David was in a relationship with Tammy Williams.
It was September 30, 2018, when DJ was planning to visit his father but received a text instead not to come since he was sick but DJ still visited and found Tammy disposing of garbage and running to the apartment. When she did open the door, she claimed that David had gone out for a walk which DJ thought was weird.
It wasn’t until a few days later that, his father’s dismembered body parts were found, leaving the teenager sad. However, for his murder, Tammy Williams, his girlfriend at that time was charged and has been on the run since October 2018.
DJ had a football game just days after learning about his father but he still went on to play that game because that’s what his father would’ve wanted and helped his team win.
The young man lives in Detroit and is a student at Eastern Michigan University majoring in Business Management and also plays for their football team as a free safety. He’s taken over the clothing company of David, “Lavish Habits Unlimited”.
In October 2018, he talked about missing his father saying that he misses creating those memories together but his father will always be with them.
