Bunty And Babli 2 Review: With Amazing actors like Pankaj Tripathi, Saif Ali Khan, Sidhant, and Rani Mukherjee, I was expecting that Bunty And Babli 2 will give some amazing laughter moments too, but sadly for me, the film was not entertaining at all. Here I am going to review the film, I am going to talk about the highlights and drawbacks of the film.
The film stars Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukherjee, Sidhant Chaturvedi, and Sharvari Wagh in the main lead roles, along with Pankaj Tripathi and others. The movie is Produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Varun V. Sharma. The film is approx 2 Hours long and now available to watch in the cinema halls. The film is a family-friendly film and you can watch it with kids and family.
Story
The story of the film was clear from the trailer itself, the film is the sequel of Bunty and Babli which was released back in 2005. The story is film starts from UP again, A Local Mayor and group of people were looted by New Pair of Banti and Babli, Police has reached out to old Banti and Bali and Polie is looking for their help to catch the new scammers. Will they be able to do so? or there is something else in the story, to know this you have to watch the full movie.
Performances
Now coming to the performances, Starting with Sharvari Wagh, She was too good in the film, She is debuting in Bollywood through this film and she is superb in her first film, Her expressions, dialogue delivery and transformation were very good. Sidhant Chaturvedi was also good in his role, he fits in the character completely. Saif Ali Khan looks decent he tried all his best to create the same magic that Abhishek Bacchan had created in the last film. Rani Mukherjee was great as usual.
Pankaj Tripathi is a gem and he knows how to make you laugh with simple dialogues, he has played brilliantly in the film and he adds comedy flavor to the flawed and dull writing. The rest of the other actors like Gopal Dutt, Yashpal Sharma, and that small Kid was very good in their performances. The film was good in terms of performance.
Analysis
Great films are made from Great Stories and Powerful performances, and this film lacks that story, the story is very dull and it is the same old story of Bunty and Babli with all-new victims. The jokes were lame, the dialogues were poor and the screenplay and climax were very predictable. The film ends on a very predicted note. The locations were great, the Songs were decent and BGM was superb, Kudo to Shankar Ehsaan Loy for this. The BGM and some good performances are the only things that are noticeable.

I am going with 1.5 out of 5 stars for the film, The film is not good at all and I will advise you to skip the film. The film has nothing to offer except some good performances by Pankaj Tripathi and others. If you are a fan of any of these actors and still want to watch the film, You can watch it in the cinema halls near you.
