A Detailed Info About the Places Where ‘Black Adam’ Was Filmed

A very much-awaited DC Movie has made its way to the theatres now and has been getting the love it needs. The DC Movie is based on the eponymous DC Comics character of the same name and an official spin-off of the 2019 smash-hit “Shazam’.

Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra who is known for directing Orphan (2009), the film stars some big stars of Hollywood with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as the torchbearer as Black Adam followed by Aldis Hodge, Noah Centineo, Sarah Shahi, and Marwan Kenzari had the viewers hooked long before it even released.

The film follows the antihero from the ancient city of Kahndaq who was imprisoned and possesses the supernatural power of the Egyptian Gods and finds himself in the modern world after 5000 years. If you’ve already watched the film, you must be impressed with the CGI and the locations used for filming. Well, you’re at the right place, and let’s dive right in!

Black Adam Filming Locations

The movie was filmed in Georgia & California, specifically in Atlanta, Fayetteville & Los Angeles. Originally planned, the shooting was to be commenced on July 2020 but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was delayed to April 2021 and wrapped up in August of the same year. However, Superman’s cameo was shot in September 2022, just a month before the movie’s premiere.

Atlanta, Georgia

Centennial Olympic Park at 265 Park Avenue West Northwest, Martin Luther King, Jr., National Historical Park at 450 Auburn Avenue Northwest, Tiny Doors ATL at 1380 Atlantic Drive Northwest Suite 14100

Fayetteville, Georgia

Trilith Studios at 461 Sandy Creek Road where many other superhero movies like Spider-Man: No Way Home, WandaVision & The Suicide Squad were shot, Historic Fayette County Courthouse also served as a production location. Ridge Nature Area, located at 390 Burch Road in Fayetteville.

Los Angeles, California

Several scenes were shot around the iconic Hollywood Sign sitting atop Mount Lee.
The production team shot a couple of scenes at Venice Beach, the Hollywood Walk Of Fame on Hollywood Boulevard on Vine Street also features in a few scenes in Black Adam.
