The movie star Adil khan and Sadia Khan , the movie is directed and produced by the Vidhu Vinod Chopra , movie is about the historical story of Kashmiri Pandits , when they were forced to leave their homes from kashmir by the Muslims , the movie narrates the love story between the Adil Khan and Sadi along with the Kashmiri Pandit tragic issue.
The movie was first titled as the A Love letter from the Kashmir but later it changed to Shikara , for those who don’t know shikara is type of boat that runs is dal lake of Srinagar. The news also came that the due to its low making cost, movie would directly release on digital platforms but director and producers Vidhu makes it clear that movie would release in theaters too and now finally it is releasing in theaters from 7th Feb. 2020.
