Alok Vagrecha is an advocate who has been practicing law for almost 21 years. He said there was a strong needle of suspicion pointing toward Shraddhananda in this case. He said this case is from the point of view of a lower-class man in society who travels into the higher strata of society and commits a crime and gets punished. Alok said a big angle of money was involved in this case.
He was 32 years old when he argued this case, and his objective was to argue for an acquittal. He was emotionally involved in the case and thought that the way they convicted Shraddhananda was wrong. It was a case of mistrial. He went to jail and talked with Swami Shraddhananda.
