Mission Majnu Review: After the super success of Amazon Prime Video’s original film Shershah, Sidharth Malhotra is back again with another film based on true events, Netflix original film ‘Mission Majnu’ is now streaming on Netflix, I just finished the film and here goes the detailed review of the film.
Directed by Shantanu Bagchi, The film Is around 2 Hours long, and You can watch the film with family and Kids. The film is written by Sumit Batheja and Parveez Shaikh, The film is a direct OTT release and stars Sidharth Malhotra, Rashmika Mandana, ShariB Hashmi, and Puneet Sheti in the main lead roles along Kumud Mishra in the Crucial role. The film also stars Zakir Hussain and Rajit Kapoor.
Coming to the story of the film, The story of the film revolves around an Indian RAW agent Amandeep Singh, He was assigned to get Information about the Pakistan Nuclear Project, Amandeep is married to a Pakistani blind girl Nasreen, How Amandeep will find the information by Keeping himself Private and by keeping his family safe, To know this you have to watch the full movie on Netflix.
Coming to the Performances, Rashmika Shines in the role and she Nailed it in the role of a Blind Girl, this is surely going to be one of her best in a Bollywood film, She was too good and very much expressive in the film, Sidharth Malhotra is also brilliant in the film, although that Charm from Shershah is missing, still he has done a great Job in the film. Sharib Hashmi was good in his short yet impactful role, The same is with Kumud Mishra, The rest of the other characters were also decent.
The biggest issue with the film is its storytelling, The film has too many fictional sequences and due to this the film loses its originality, The writing of the film is weak and there are lots of loopholes in the film, Unnecessary dialogues and sequences are added in the film to make it spicy, which were not needed at all, The film is slow in the beginning but the climax was brilliant. The music of the film is also average, the Locations were brilliant and it gives a realistic feel to the film. Shantanu Bagchi has done a good job as director.
I am going with 3 Out 5 stars for the film, The film lacks that authenticity, But Rashmika and Sidharth’s performance makes it a decent watch, The film is around 2 Hours long and you can watch the film on Netflix.
