OMG, this movie is hilarious hahaha. When I first started this, I honestly had no expectations that this movie will be a complete entertainment package. Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal was released in April this year. The movie stars my personal favorite Vijay Sethupathi who’s an acting bonafide. Nayanthara and Samantha Ruth Prabhu are the leading ladies of the movie.
I won’t be spoiling the whole story but let’s discuss it briefly. Rambo is a peak-level unlucky person and then one day he finds not one, but two love interests at the same time! Now how will he manage two girls? What’s gonna happen when the girls will know this? Is this even gonna work out? Many questions and the answer is this comedy movie which succeeds in holding us as an audience. Storywise the movie mostly keeps its hold on cinematography but might make you feel uneasy in a couple of moments. You’ll know it when you’ll see the movie. There are certain moments that I completely disliked but those are pretty much ignorable.
Surprisingly the movie has a lot of hilarious moments throughout and never really makes you get bored at all. Despite having a little bold topic, the movie is completely family-friendly and enjoyable.
Talking about the acting of our three musketeers, they’ve done a great job. Since this was a comedy movie, there wasn’t a great scope to showcase the greatest acting but whatever we get is definitely good.
Music is given by Anirudh Ravichander and it’s very well and groovy. Especially the “Two Two” song is the one you’ll keep listening to on loop. Supporting actors have done a decent job in their teeny-tiny roles.
The ending of this movie was a bit underwhelming but lovely. Despite completing the story, the movie can easily have a sequel if the makers decide to since the movie follows an open ending.
Of course, this movie topped my expectations since I had none, to be honest. This is not a one-time watch, but a fun time watch. We’ve got stories like these many times but still, this movie shines which is an amazing thing.
Cliche moments and a few scenes minus, this movie is not bad or boring at all. You should definitely check this out if you’re looking for a clean enjoyable comedy.
